Everglades Seafood Festival, February 3, 2012 - February 5, 2012, Fri. 5-11 pm; Sat. & Sun. 10:00 am - 6 pm.  Come and enjoy the annual Seafood Festival held in Everglades City. Three days of live music, carnival rides, arts, crafts, and incredible food! The Everglades Seafood Festival offers something for all tastes and fun for all ages. Over 100 vendors offer a wide variety of great seafood, refreshments, midway, and hand-made arts and crafts.  The free event features fresh seafood, country music, carnival rides, crafts booths and, with an estimated 40,000 to 50,000 people,  plenty of people watching.

Everglades City, Florida’s “stone crab capital,” is a pocket of Old Florida with many original buildings and an old-fashioned neo-classical courthouse. The town, settled in the 1880s,  has been raising money for local charities with a seafood festival since 1970.
